I own a 650 classic, 05. 30,000 kilometers(look it up) I am male, 48 years, 200lbs and have been riding for 34 years. The bike is sufficient for me. I take many long trips, often 2 up, and have not experienced any mechanical or performance problems. I rode, and still own a BMW R75/5 for 25 years and just over 100,000 miles. I do recommend the 650 v-star.
