I´m curious what the community thinks of my interesting prospect... I have an opportunity to buy a 2005 V Star 650 Midnight Custom with 38,000 miles for $2000. The bike has had one owner, an acquaintance who is a professional car mechanic, that has maliciously taken care maintenance and made numerous customizations. (I have seen the bike often during the past few summers so I have this added knowledge of how the bike has been treated). Its only need a new set of tires. I´m excited and want to buy it. What do you think? List of maintenance & customizations: - updated clutch springs - replaced clutch - replaced starter clutch - replaced starter motor brushes - Modified exhaust pipes (but has originals untouched) - windshield - aftermarket classic seat - highway bars - Silverado bags |
