Those pipe should make it sound like quite a different machine. The Jardine Oil Filter Relocation kit is something many V-Star owners have installed to make up for the OEM shortsightedness... The Jardine kit at nopork.com seems to be the least expensive of the various aftermarket sites. (Afterall, you´ll just end up loosening the pipes again at every oil change, which is not fun and takes up time to mess with.) Besides, with the kit installed, I won´t have the tendency to delay a needed oil change when the bike really needs it. And I´ve done that many times with the car. Good luck with the new sound of your bike and drive safely out there. |
