im a little crazy i guess.. lol...
So anyways .. ive been riding all my life , have rode about everything there is ,..
recently picked up a yamy 1700 silverado ... im in love .. what a sweet bike ..
Only problem im having is a fuel delivery issue.. fuel pump that came on her didnt work correctly.. so i did a little research and discovered that they sell a kit to eliminate the fuel pump all together and go straight gravity feed.. the kit consists of a larger id hose and a bigger float bowl jet .. so .. i did my own version of that wich should have worked normal riding it does actually ...but again im a bit crazy .. and i like to go fast occasionaly.. so... under demand i lean out and then die .. so i got to thinkin .. i know . dangerous.. anyways ..
i also was seeing air in the fuel line .. idk .. soi got a fairly high output vacuum operated fuel pump , like they sell for kohler mower motors and such ,thinking that would keep the line full .. i tapped into the vacuum line for the ais system....seems to run the pump very well....
well now it runs good at normal operation , but running 70 75 on the hwy , i can go 10 to 15 miles and she starves out to the point of dieing .. pull over .. just for a second... hit start button .. good for another 10 to 15 miles ... if ya hog dog down it itll bog and die immediatly.. i know i could go back all oem .. but im hard headed.. still seeing air in the line as well .. whata you guys think ??
