| Just purchased my 2005 Roadstar Silverado. Great cruiser, a little too quiet for my taste, but comfortable for the spouse. My 2005 Roadstar Silverado choke will not go all the way in, without killing the engine, needs to be out about 1/4 inch. This is likely due to the previous owner riding it about 500 miles per year, it sat in the garage for months without being started. Does anyone have any comments or suggestions, on whether it could sustain any damage by running it with the choke out 1/4 inch? Estimates to get the choke cleaned are running between $225.00 and $500.00 depending on parts needed. I have put 1,200 miles on it in the Month of May, runs better than just okay, misses only when RPMs are very low.
