Hum? I have not had that experience and I have about 9000 miles now. I know the clutch is adjustable at the hand grip. Try giving that a turn for a couple of clicks, no tools necessary. Also, I am quite certain the clutch is hydrolic maybe it needs to be bled or a minor adjustment. Take the bike in for it´s 6000 service and mention the symptoms to the service manager.
