87 savage-fouling plugs-with new plug, runs great thirty minutes, plug fouls-backfires and dies- rebuilt carb three times- tried hotter plug- plugs are sooty and black. air/fuel screw seems to have no effect. need to know air/screw setting,& float setting?
Could spark be getting too weak for proper ignition?
