Stalling Issue...Please Help

I have a 2004 suzuki volusia. It has aftermarket pipes (Vance & Hines Longshots). There has been multiple times when I am pulling in the clutch to either downshift or simply because I am coming to a stop and my bike will stall. Then i will have to restart the bike sometimes once or sometimes multiple times before i am able to get moing again. Does anyone have any suggestions that might help or has anyone had this same problem.
