Debby, There is a single button head bolt at the back of the passenger seat. Use a 6 MM allen wrench, counterclockwise, to remove the bolt. Lift the passenger seat up slightly and pull it back. Once that is off, you will find two button head bolts holding the riders seat in place. Same procedure and "ta-da" there is your battery. Shoot me an e-mail if I can be of further assistance.
