I´m thinking of getting a GSF 500 F, but am new to riding and it would be my first big bike. I´m still prone to overbalance occasionally, and am worried about fairing damage if I drop it (I´m a woman, so beyond a certain tipping point it´s hard to hold it). Would mushrooms/crashguard give reasonable protection, or should I go for an unfaired version?
