Lol for a fisrt time rider...this bike is certainly NOT what you want nor need unless your goal is to either end up in traction or at your funeral. This is a very powerful bike even for experienced riders like moi and even manages to scare me sometimes: Realize that the Gixxer 6 as well as other like bikes are true track bred performance bikes that are sold for street riding. Please Im asking you as an experienced rider and a nice person to consider buying pehaps a Katana or a Ninja 500 so that you can get in some great riding time under your belt before graduating onto something like the Gixxer and you will like both bikes as well as stay safe. Ive had too many friends already killed on bikes they did not need while doing things they could not handle. Peace....
