you have to hold the button switch the bike off n back on and your tach will set as soon as you release the button. your shift lite will come on if you hold the shift button untill ou see a ligtning bolt by your mph. the f1 is your fuel injection indicator light you need to have your fuel injection checked out but try to get different 93 octane gas from another place it could be bad gas
