Actually, it is "green" most of the time, and when it turns "red" it means you are at a scheduled maintenance Point. It does not mean the oil is low, or bad or anything of that nature...in fact, it changes from Green to Red based on miles on the odometer, not the engine. If you poke your Key in the little slot below the oil light, it will turn back to green.
