I used to own a ´87 Helix just a month or so ago. I gave it away to a friend. It still runs fine but its weight finally had gotten to me. It only weighed 350#´s and the trucks and me just didn´t seem to get along wind wise. My brand new ´04 Silver Wing weighs 487#´s dry and 503#´s wet. The additional weight is like night and day when compared to the much lighter Helix. I can now ride along (while passing) ANY big rig out there on those interstates and not even flinch wind wise. I love it! :) |
