How many NSR50Rs sold in North America

How many 2004 Honda nsr50rs were sold in North America? I bought one a few years ago, brand new and still in the factory crate. Trying to figure out the current value of it so I can make my decision to either whip it out and play with it at the track like it was meant to be used or continue to store it in it´s crate. Can´t find this number anywhere. Even tried contacting Honda directly but got no response.
