| Hi! To all! Just want to let you guys know how i got my dream 50r...but first off let me say that this bike is very interesting looking bike. It looks and feels like owning and riding a piece of history. I don´t know if the value of this bike will hold up it´s value since it was just released just 2004. But i would not mind keeping it for a long time. Im not really a collector. All bikes that i own and used to own are late model sportbikes. Such as the 05 repsol cbr1000rr, 02 suzuki gsxr telefonica, ducati mh900e, and on..until last week when my wife and i went shopping for R6 fiat at yamaha-honda near by dealer. The dream 50r was sitting on the side of their showroom floor caught my eyes. This bike is awsome! Besides being a race bike which is not legal for U.S. and being released thru Honda Co. I thought its great!. I rushed up to one of the salesperson and asked how much the bike was. But he said that the bike was not for sale and it´s owned by the manager of that dealership. So i went home and called around to find out whos dealer might still carry it. Luckily i found one that still in the crate. The salesperson who intruduced me to it says that these cb50r are directly imported from japan and has all HRC parts which pretty hard to get in U.S. It os probably the last one to sell in my area and i got! Not just got it but got for the great price! The MSRP on this bike in U.S. is $5,499.00 plus other fees could come up to $6,300.00 easy. But i got it alot less than that price that put a bog smile to my face until now. If any one else in U.S. Have this same bike and done something interesting to it pls send me pictures and it would be great if you have some links where to get some aftermarket parts for this bike.
