Buying a Daytona 650

I had a Honda F4i and was thinking about a Honda CbR RR but after looking at the technical specs on the Daytona 600 I decided to go ahead and gt it only to find out that triumph is releasing a 650 for 05. I was wondering how the 600´s hold up. Like upkeep and repair cost are they more than that of janese bikes.
