I´ve got the 04 special edition Black wheels and frame, with all the plastics. Added a Manx fairing, ((goodbye wind blast))Also a factory gel touring seat. No more Speed Triple ****. A great investment. I do a lot of touring on my Triple, 300 miles a day no sweat. I invested in a Scott oiler, magic bit of kit!!! Chews out rear tyes pretty quick, only gripe. Otherwise the best Hinckley Triumph I have had by a mile!!! Don´t like the 05 model, looks like a dog about to have a crap. That´s what happens when you employ an Italian to design british bikes.. I will be keeping my bike for a lot longer now, and maybe replace it with a new Sprint in a couple of years, Unless Triumph come back down to earth, and design a better and more acceptable Speed Triple than the 05 model. Only my oppinion. Only other fault I find with my bike is the gearbags a bit clunky. Otherwise a puuurfect all round grunty wee beast.
