Just ride one, I almost doubt you will want more power unless you are a sqiudly straight line kinda guy. The bike will turn a high 10 in the quarter and do 100 under 7 seconds. Believe me its plenty fast unless you weigh 220lbs. As far as 74 to 82, on a 2005 I would believe that if we were talking wheel hp. Problem is I cannot find anywhere that Honda has published power numbers for the 2005. I have read anything from 85 to 105.
