That sounds like a great deal to me. I just bought the same bike brand new for 7,800. If it´s in good shape (no plastic damage) and the maintence has been kept up (500 and 4000 mile scheduled tune up), I´d take it. Plus, it would have already been through the break in period...so you don´t have to woprry about the first two expensive tune-ups. My first tune up was $125. I´d ask to see the service records though...I think its a great bike...I´ve had it for about two months now and already have 1800 miles on it. Much better than the Ninja I had before.
