Getting ready to buy my dads ´04 VFR 800, he´s 77 and has decided it´s time to hang up his leathers!
I´ve joined this group in order to immerse myself in the collective wisdom of all of the VFR Pilots that assemble or loiter here. I´ll never disrespect any legitimate attempts to educate my on this bike and want to take this opportunity to thank enthusiastically any and all that contribute to my edification! In return I offer: 1. Never drink and ride. 2. When a LEO turns on his overheads behind YOU, always, pull over IMMEDIATELY, move slowly and deliberately and don´t start digging in you jacket or tank bag for you registration make sure he/she can see both your hands so facehim and take off gloves and helmet then wait for him before digging for your stuff! Remember they just want to live to clock out and go home so be safe and do what the cops tell you!
