I am not too sure what a trident 750 is , but I hope that this helps. I have a 2002 919, I have yet to top my bike out yet I have had it up 140 mph, and still had alot of throttle left to go, I was running out of road. It will get there real fast. If you have owned a cafe style bike in the past and are moving to a middle style street/sport bike it will take a bit to get used to. In the fact that you have to get used to the wind trying to push you up, But if you lean forward you will avoid this. She will pul up in a whellie like right now.
