Hello to all. Have had my 07 600 for about 2 months now.Getting very comfortable with it.Have about 2000+ miles on it now. Used to ride 350s about 10 years ago,just restarting riding. Bike seems to be happy at 70 mph on freeway,sometimes going 80 and don´t seem to notice,have to back off.
At times I feel I should drop the front gear one tooth for easier take off,but will this also mess with my freeway speed and provide more vibration ? Also have been thinking about lowering rear sprocket to 41 leaving front alone, will this effect my take offs or just my freeway speed and vibration ? I will be installing a windshield in a few days ,anyone have any input on this subject as to power loss due to drag ? Live in San Antonio tx. Doesn´t seem to have any bugs on the roads,a blessing .I do wear a helmet.There are times I feel like there is no bike under me and i´m just moving down the road, this is probably the time to be most carefull as I´m to comfortable, right?
