Matt,
I have 6K on my ´04 RKC. I have not heard anything on the front brake other than the normal pad/rotor contact. I have noticed both front and rear rotors being slightly warped, occasionally causing the pads and the rotor to make brief contact on each rotation. Only real brake problem I have is the rear brake doesn´t have much stopping ability beyond just the single rotor and the weight transfer during braking. Instead of the normal 70/30 bias front to back, mine is more 90/10.
