Brake light problems

I am hooking up new marker signals to my bike. I hooked them up and evcen used a load equalizer (badlands). Unfortunatly, for some reason my brake light stays bright. I have no brake light when i use the handle or the foot brake. Anyone else have this problem, or know how to fix it? Thanks for the help
