RPM restriction after changing the battery

RPM restriction after changing the battery

AFter my battery went flat, I replaced it but now the when I turn on the ignition it the reve meter stops at 6000, instead of 10500, and the red warning light comes on when the bike hits 6000rpm. How can I remove this restriction
