Hello good people. Ive just bought an A1 Eliminator for a friend who is doing her CBT. The price we paid reflected the fact it is a non runner and i know we wont be out of pocket even if we have to replace the engine. Guess what??? We do. It has dropped a valve and burnt a hole through the piston. We could go up the route of oversize piston, rebore, new valves etc but as she wont be keeping the bike for o long after she passes her test sre now thinking along the lines of replacing the engine. Both options seem to be difficult to find the bits for when searching as an Eliminator. Im pretty certain this engine will have been used in other kawasaki models and aso that the valves and piston will also be common with other engines. Does anyone know about any of this? Cheers KK |
