You might want to have youre carb needles looked at.
I have come accross this where there is a funny noise from the motor due to this.

The other option that you might have is to look at the clutch plates - The steel Plates. These are supposed to be dull and not shiny. This can also cause a noise coming from the motor.

If it sounds like a rattling, and it only gets louder the harder you rev the bike, it is most probably the timing chain that needs to be replaced. This is quite a bit of work.
