| Hi. I´m expecting to pick up my new b-805 on 21 Sept 05. Can´t wait! I´ve owned ten or so bikes over the last 26 yrs, most recent being a VX800 Suzuki. Before that it was a new Bandit 1200s, but to be honest, the VX has turned out to be so much more enjoyable despite being a very cheap, 15 years old run-around! So why the Sachs? Well I don´t know how long the VX will keep going before something goes wrong as it is getting on a bit now, and to be honest, I don´t have much time or technical know how should something major need doing. And anyway, I love ´quirky´ bikes, which of course the b-805 is... and it has a highly chromed version of the VX engine!! I had a really good look at the bike (at 3X Motorcycles in Dorset, England)which was for sale at just £3999, and loved the look of it, and the build quality looked excellent too. I´ve taken some pictures that can be e-mailed if anyone is interested! So in closing, no I haven´t yet ridden the bike, but I am sure it will suit me very well. I´ll leave a message again in a month or so to let you know how I´m finding it. |
