V-Max is a very beautiful bike, I don´t know when they 1st released this bike, but I can remember I saw this bike 1986 in Singapore at Lorong Chuan HDB carpark, I fell in love with it immediately even till now. But I never own one, too young and too poor, now - still poor. For past 17 years, I have been trackng the latest news on this bike, new colour, some adjustment from factory, but think I like most was the "Black Beauty" and the one with yellow color. Powerful Muscle bike as it has been named for manay years. Now I own a BMW R100R Mystics, it was never my dream bike, think it is a very practicle bike, 2nd owner since 1997 and still going strong, expensive and think it is a bit ugly, but somehow, i just enjoy ridding it. Anyway, I only own 4 bikes till now, a LC125, FZ400, FZR400RR (EXUP) and R100R. May be there´s no comparison that makes me stick to this bike for so long. Hope someday, I am able to own a V-Max, think it will be a better bike, if they are able to add in original Yamaha panniers (like FJR1300), better suspension (was told that the suspension sucks, but he who told me didn´t know that this is a dragster, how sad), bigger oil tank or optional oil tank for longer distance. Let´s see if any chances for 2004-20xx. Cheers.
