Hi, i did this to m bike so i does work. At the back of the speedometer and revcount there is an interface that plugs into the back. unclip this and look for the pink wire with a white line down it. this is the rev limiter. cut this wire and apply electric tape to atleast one end of it. This allows the bike to build revs even after 8000 rpm. On my bike it used to reach 8000 and do nothing. when i cut the wire it got to 8000 rpm and then shot up to 9000-10000
