Hi. Where do I begin? I´ve had numerous ignition problems. To date, over £300.00 at JT´s in Swansea. When I arrived to pick it up the bike refused to start and the "mechanics" had to rip the guts out of it just to get it rolling. Disappointed to say the least.
It also uses bike chains at an alarming rate. I´ve had to change the drive chain half a dozen times since purchase. Maybe there´s a high rubber content in the metal, because they stretch too quickly. Starting her up is still a nightmare - Will she, won´t she? - and I can´t wait to get another bike. For a bike less than 3 years old I don´t expect large repair bills. Oh, and the headlights blows at the merest whim. Is it possible to have the bloody thing exorcised?
Apart from its weight, design and the fact the the V-Twin engine gives me goose bumps, I would not recommend it to anyone. It collects rust, too. I expect that but it gathers the stuff at an alarming rate. I´d like to be able to do more of the maintenance but there are no Haynes manuals available, and the side stand is useless for anything other than parking. A centre stand would have been better. Overall Suzuki ought to be ashamed of themselves.
