After having tried the Breva 750 last weekend, I have to agree. This bike is perhaps a bit limited in power due to the "rev"-limit of 7000 rpm, but the engine has it´s maximum (and ample)torque from 2000 rpm on.
And exactly this characteristic, combined with the agility, makes it a fantastic cruiser for the "city life" as well as the curvy back roads.
When my finances are up to it, I will trade my old Honda CB500 for the Breva 750.
