I´m 33, been riding since I was able to throw my leg of a bike. My last 2 bikes were crotch rockets and I loved them!! My ex wife got my zx9r in the divorce and now that things are over i´m looking to get another bike. Since I´m older than I was when I bought my Ninja my tastes for what I liked about the bike have changed....just a little. I toured Europe on my Ninja, wasnt like I bought it to JUST sport ride, so now that i´m in the market for another bike I have been shopping. I have been looking hard at a 2004 BMW R 1150 GSA, Hayabusa and a Harely Electrglide, clearly all three at there own ends of their spectrum. I´m am looking for a bike that I can get on and go some place to get away from it all. I do like the basis of the BMW, I still like the feeling of knowing that I have all that HP underneath me with the busa, and I like the laid backness of the Harely. I´m just torn as to which one to really decide on. the BMW and busa are gonna be more reliable in my opinion so I have narrowed out the Harely somewhat. I dont know about the cost for parts on the BMW WHNE they decide to break or go bad. Busa parts are inexpensive. Sorry for the long post just looking for some feedback.
