I am 68" in height, so, being rather short the seat height of 29.1" is somewhat tall for me. I rode the bike on a 560 mile trip and found very little discomfort and that was with the standard seat. Since then I have installed the new touring seat. I have also found the foot-forward position of the pegs to be helpful for me with comfort. For tall riders, I just don´t know how the seat height and foot forward pegs would affect their comfort. Sorry.

I did read in some of the motorcycle magazines from the Spring of 2004 that several aftermarket modifications were planned, seat height adjustment being one of them, but I don´t know if any of these have been initiated. I would check with your dealer. Mine seems to be aware of that sort of thing.
