Ahh, another old fart rider. Your experience is similar to mine, the R-III is a thrill and when the kid on the Buell wheelied at the second stop light I just giggled. Age 62, other bikes gathering dust, yep, the R-III is lotsa fun. BTW: I took off about 50 pounds of bling, put on a single megaphone muffler for a Bonneville, easy job, whack off 6 inches and it slips right on, eliminates catalyst and three heavy lumps, lightens up the rear end a bit but haven´t had many problems with wheel spin. Might have some after the turbo, headers and remapping. Damn I got old fast, REALLY FAST!!!
