I have a 04 model, I was able to get just over 9 thousand out of my stock rear tire and I rode it hard the hole time, you know burn outs, wheelies, racing, all that fun stuff. It was well worn when I changed it but the dealers say I did real well to get that. Maybe it is the type of pavement you are doing your burn outs on. I am currently working on a Dunlop tire now.
