Gary,
I am experiencing engine noise (whining sound) from 45 -60 as well. It is very noticable in 5th gear. I have 33k on my bike and the noise has been getting worse over the last 8k. Have you figured anything out on this? I suspect the valve train. Any help would be appreciated. Please email me at enis27@yahoo.com.
