Just after a major service (54,000 kms) I accidently gave it a fistful, but was not properly engaged in 5th gear. It over-revved and now there is a knock down in the bottom end right hand side. I think its a race bearing or hydraulic lifter, do I need to remove the engine to repair or can I just leave it in the frame and lower it in order to get the rocker covers off?
