i have a 76 kz900. i bored to 1015cc i drilled some 120 jets bigger, i ported the heads , imade 2into1 exhaust(each side),i hooked up a car relay to the coils, i run an 8thou. point gap, 32thou plug gap, and have the timing backed way past the fire markafter 2 years i finally ran with two bikes a zx10 andzx6 (2004s)
from about 82 to 120 they could not gain an inch. i never tried any other speeds. when i bought the bike it did maybe a hundred with two inside pistons damaged now at 95 in 3rd gear crack it and look out baby the world is turnen i just couldnt believe it and no wonder i was never getting bored with the power 1st and 2nd are awesome for wheelies. by the weigh im 255lbs!
