My son has just graduated to an 03 model RM85L and I would like to put a fly wheel weight on the bike to make it more suitable for trail riding, however I am unable to find any manufacturer who stocks a weight to suit.

I can find weights for every other 85cc motocross bike except for the RM.

Can someone explain to me why?

There is plenty of space inside the cover for a weight.

I´m wondering if there is another reason nobody makes weights for this bike.

Is the crankshaft not strong enough? or is there another reason?
