Performance of the Burgman 650 is similar to a fuel injected 650 cc motorcycle with an automatic transmission. 0-60 in 6.8 sec. top speed close to 110 mph.

As a commuter bike, it is not particularly fuel efficient. About 60 mpg on the road and 45 mpg in the city.

The design does a good job venting the engine heat away from the rider. It is a cool, smooth, and comfortable ride.

The burgman weighs 580 lbs. but has a very low center of gravity so it is not difficult to manage in the city.
