| Hi there I live in the UK, and I´m planning to go to Greece and back in 2008, via Ancona in Italy, could anybody tell me please is it possible fit a pair of hard panniers onto a 650 Burgman is it safe and does the handling get affected in any way, I´m a hard rider and corner as though I´m on a Bandit sport, so the Burgman works hard for me, at the moment I have an 7 old AN400, but I am searching the UK for a good 3 year old 650, its very hard to find one, the bike dealers over here don´t like the Burgman so they´re no help, instead they ride those silly cruiser bikes, I know who is the most comfortable, its me! on the 13th of October I traveled over 300 miles the only thing painful was my thumbs, most of the time I was at 90mph, also please could somebody tell me the best tire for touring a Burga but they must grip in the wet and last fare while, does the 650 use as much oil as the 400 does.
