Speedometer trouble

The digital speedometer jumps a little up and down when I keep a constant speed. So while driving with a steady speed it will jump about 5-6 mph (8-10 km´t) up and down. But not all the time, but most of the time.
Have anyone else had this problem, and if they have, what´s the solution? On my bike the whole clock unit with the rpm dial and digital speedometer has been changed.
