2003 VS 1400GLP Intruder

2003 VS 1400GLP Intruder

I just bought a 03 1400, with 7,500 miles looks new, runs great. but the rear end seems to have a whine when at low &high speeds.I bought a new intruder in 1992 i do not recall it making the noise. does anyone else have this problem thanks for any info.
