Just got me a new speedmaster with a nasty clonk from rear sprog. Took it back to shop and told ´em that something is badly wrong with the cush drive. It clonks under & over power through the gears and also just by pulling on the clutch. You can see the rear sprog jump, way too much play. Shop asked Triumph UK what the tolerance should be but they are waiting for them to get back. Looked at a brand new mahine and that had a bit of play but nowhere near as much as mine. I´ve done 500 miles now but it was clonking from day one. Shop said they can´t do anything for 10 days when it´s booked in for 1st service. So if they say it´s within the limit, then I´m going to be really cheesed off!!!! ´till then I´ve got to put up with it. Anyone had this prob or got any advise for me? Be appreciated. |
