Hey Mike:
I bought another rear fender off of Ebay and am in the process of fitting a luggage rack and saddle bags for touring. I did not want to drill holes and brace the origional fender. And the rear fender is pretty easy to swap with only four bolts as it has to be removed to change rear tires.
