Just purchased a 2001 CR80 that I believe had not been riden very much over the past 3-4 years. There appears to be no modes what so ever to the bike. The owner had just had it serviced before putting it up for sale due to the fact that he apparently broke the cooling line conector on the head. The head was brand new and he gave me a copy of the service bill from the local honda shop ($240). The bike looked great for a 2001 and started first kick but bogged particularly at low rpm. I thought for $800 I couldn´t pass it up. I´ve cleaned the carb, replaced a leaking exhaust seal at the cylinder head and although it idles smoother it boggs initially a low end then after 4-5 minutes of riding it boggs at basically all power ranges? I also check the reeds and although I´m no mechanic, other than one of the reeds not sitting flush against the housing (slightly up, so I flipped it over) they looked fine. Any ideas on the problem? Thanks in advance.
