XL1000 V Owner´s Journal - 4 weeks on |

I cannot believe I have had 4 weeks of riding pleasure already! Did the Bike Safe course yesterday - in Hayes near Bromley, great group of Met traffic police officers give up their time to instill better safety. Lunch at the Spitfire cafe Biggin Hill was a cracker. The XL1000 continues to amaze and please me, motorway speeds its rock solid, country lanes its fun, and about town it has a presence that helps cars divide when filtering. Service tomorrow when I get a scotoiler fitted and the pannier rails for soft touring luggage, yet to be chosen. getting 60 mph so far. |
