I have a 2003 Honda 919 and I´m looking for a small luggage rack. I´ve seen racks designed for hard luggage, but they´re pretty ugly if the luggage isn´t attached. I want something tubular, preferably Stainless Steel, but I´d take chrome plated, just big enough to tie down an extra helmet or a sleeping bag or a box of groceries. On the 919, Honda gives 2 hooks that come out from under the seat, but 2 is not enough and there´s no place else to attach a bungee cord or net. Additionally, I´m installing a Corbin "Gunfighter and Lady" saddle, and that´s going to eliminate those 2 hooks. Also … I have a 2003 919. I don´t ride much at night, but when I do, I outrun my headlight beam. I´ve adjusted the housing up, but that doesn´t help. I´m running the stock H4 60/55 bulb. Will I encounter any problems (overheating, blowing fuses, etc) if I install an H4 100/80 bulb? |
